在中国过日子和在美国不一样。在北京,我想做一顿饭,比起在旧金山必须要准备得早一些。这种差异是买菜的地方不一样决定的。在美国,如果我需要什么菜,去商店就可以,任何时候都能买到看起来很新鲜的蔬菜;而在这里,我也去过商店买菜,但是菜的质量总是让人很失望:就像丰收过后的田野上蔫蔫的破烂的菜叶子散落在那里。在北京要想买到新鲜的菜,必须得在一大早去菜市场。
