ShowShanti apron | Welcome Tim!
Beijing, CHINA — April has been one busy month! A lot happens with the ShowShanti project that doesn’t get posted. One I’m happy to unveil and offer to fans, is the new ShowShanti apron I’ve designed as a gift of appreciation to participating families. I’ve always had a dream to design pretty wear-ables, and here it is – a fabulous apron!
Also new to the team is the new intern, Tim Spross (aka TJ)! Tim is my husband’s cousin whose high school senior project requires him to intern for a month. I’m proud to have him on board as he brings with him an immense sense of curiosity for the Chinese culture, history, and FOOD! Tim will add to the project in many ways, but look for his blogs here on ShowShanti as he lends his perspective on a country new to him, while encountering the warmth and hospitality of Chinese families. I can’t help but mention how happy it makes me to be able to share this experience with another family member. Welcome TJ!
