What a year 2012 has been! The years, months, and days that led to today have been an intense rush of emotion, changes, and transformation. I just wrapped up my work at Time Out Beijing magazine; my last issue is the December issue. I’ve worked with some great people and met a lot of inspiring people in my short time there.
In a few hours, I depart to Thailand for a short but much needed recharge. I need to be a hermit for a while.
Lots of things on the horizon after I return to Beijing. When I return, I start my position as dining director at SmartBeijing.com, an expansion from the much loved SmartShanghai.com not only brimming with entertainingly useful content, but also a mobile and iPad app – I’m into bridging appetites and wanderlust with technology.
85 Broads Beijing will also host two events in early December – check them out. Capital M also has its Literary Festival coming up, which I’m looking forward to volunteering at, as well. There’s plenty more, but right now I need to wind down and save all my excitement for when I return, and hit the cold Beijing ground running!
