It’s been a perfect autumn day with warm sunshine, blue skies, and sweater-friendly weather. Today’s goal was to get a head start on work, but days such as this require strong will power to not linger in daydreams. Catching up with Krishna, general manager at Bar Veloce, I learned of an escape I’d like to experience before winter hits. He recharged at The Brickyard near Mutianyu, an eco-retreat near the Great Wall before October holidays. I need a recharge, myself. I haven’t had a proper vacation since July 2011. That said, I just added The Brickyard to my want-to-go list on Gogobot.
The day isn’t over yet. The girls have just arrived and it’s time for wine tasting. Happy Friday!
