Grandma's Red Braised Pork Belly (外婆红烧肉, Wàipó Hóng Shāo ròu)

Grandma’s Red Braised Pork Belly (外婆红烧肉, Wàipó Hóng Shāo ròu) — The flavor was right, it looked perfect, but it didn’t fall apart, melt in my mouth, or make me believe I’d died and gone to heaven.

Glutinous Rice Stuffed Jujubes (糯米红枣, Nuò Mǐ Hóng Zǎo)

Glutinous Rice Stuffed Jujubes (糯米红枣, Nuò Mǐ Hóng Zǎo) — These had to be my favorite. Slightly sweet with chewy fun stuffing. If you like mochi and dates, this might appeal to you.

Gao Xie (膏蟹, Salt Pepper Crab)

Salt and Pepper Crab (膏蟹, Gāo Xiè) — I could eat anything battered and fried like this.
