Until very recently, I vexed over the belief that I should be excellent at one thing. It seemed everywhere I turned, there was someone passionate and perfect at one interest. I couldn’t figure myself out. One might say I have a general interest in many things, but I couldn’t bear the thought of being generally adept at many things. I wanted to be great at one thing. Thankfully, a few years of maturity have changed my perspective and I embrace every level of interest I possess. The bottomline is, I’m never bored.

Not everything puts food on the table, but some things might serve you a delicious measure of pride and fulfillment.
