This month, our esteemed guest speakers reign as leaders in their careers and highlight important values in their success. As Michelle Li explores the successes behind top CEO’s in China, she shares with 85 Broads her observations of business performance and leadership as an entity and individually. Elaine Chang shares her best practices; ‘dream big’ and ‘the success of a team depends not solely on the leader’s vision, but also on the trust a leader has in the strengths and aptitude of each team member’. Dr. Connie Osborne impresses her story themed by ‘perseverance’ and how throughout her life, perseverance is key to her success at a personal level as well as seeing through the progress of fighting HIV/AIDS in China.

Elaine Chang General Manager, Marketing and Channel Group at Intel China

Elaine is the General Manager of Intel China Marketing and Channel Group. Based in Beijing, she is responsible for all marketing and channel business in PRC, including strategy, marketing and promotions of Intel brand and products, retail and partner co-marketing, and distribution/channel development and management. Elaine joined Intel in 1993 as a software design engineer in the United States. She subsequently relocated to Asia Pacific, holding several sales, marketing and management positions in China and Asia Pacific.

Dr. Connie M. Osborne Senior Advisor, HIV/AIDS Team leader with the World Health Organization

Dr. Osborne is a Zambian national, currently working as a senior advisor, HIV/AIDS / Team Leader with the World Health Organization (WHO) in the People’s Republic of China. Her education background includes an MB.,Ch.B medical degree as well as two masters degrees; one in pediatrics & child health and the other in epidemiology. Dr. Osborne’s professional career and work experience spans over 20 years, with progressive managerial experience at senior level both in Zambia and in Ethiopia, Switzerland, Botswana and now China.
